Sean. why did ABC sell it to the WB though without a proper finale? I know of Full House, but not deeply it was ehhh to me back then, I always liked Family matters more.
Regardless this spinoff could be really good or terrible IMO. I just hope its more Modern Family, and less cheesy Full House morals and such.
ABC was canceling it because it was becoming very expensive to produce an episode. In television, every year when your show gets renewed your budget increases. I believe full house cost over $2 million per episode back in 1994-95 in its last season plus the actors pay. The show aired from September 22, 1987 to May 23, 1995, broadcasting eight seasons and 192 episodes.
So I'm sure it would it have continued but not on some small network.
The Olsens are being asked back for "cameos". This will flop.
This. It'll be as bad as Girl Meets World
GMW was nice from what I saw, but I didn't see any cameo appearances from the other cast. I would have liked it more to be a show about them as adults than raising kids. But in short what they did was make it enjoyable for parents who were kids in 90s to watch with the young children, not a bad idea. FullER House better not be cheesy and a children's show still.
Sometimes there's airplanes, I can't jump out. Sometimes there's bullsh!t, that don't work now. We all got out stories, but please tell me... what there's to complain about.
I think what they maybe didn't know was that it was official, and they weren't directly asked to be part of it. They're a very close cast. The twins are especially close to Bob and John, so its weird that one of them said Bob Saget didn't talk to them about it the last time they saw him, which was recently. I guess it's because Stamos is in charge of this (that I read) and maybe it's his job to talk to cast about it himself.
Anyway, I don't think they're interested in this much, maybe an episode or two.
I always got the idea that the twins almost thought they made the show or were too big for the show and or fellow cast.
Either way it's odd to me if they heard nothing about it. I mean unless they left on that bad termsz I didn't know they were close to anyone from show tbh
GMW is on the Disney Channel, that's why. I think they could have gotten away with it being a balance of between them and their kids if it were on ABC Family or something similar. It's a cute show but it's not something I can sit and watch.
