Nope. Actually she doesn't quality for double disc certification because then it would have been 3x Platinum as she didn't put more time on the album It's a.certain amount of time you need to be certified twice.
Regardless of that rule. If you buy an album and it's two disc then technically you bought two albums and back to basics was very expensive if we forgot. I remember paying 17 dollars for it.
It was a risky move but financially, it payed off in the end considering all of the samples she used. I would be scared if I manage a artist who did a double disc while changing their musical style and adopting to a different audience.
what do you mean by that? time working on the album or the era?
You need 80 minutes and this troll only put 78 minutes. Like Christina Really?
Side note: The best-selling double album of all time is Michael Jackson's HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I with over 33 million copies (66 million units) sold worldwide
Mess at $3. I bought on several occasions and the cheapest was $15. That's why we don't see it in retail anymore. Its too expensive unless her label reduces the price. Its cheap on online retail stores like Amazon.
You usually see stripped and keeps getting better on retail tho.
You don't even see much of Lotus. Bionic is $5 at Walmart now I believe....trying to get rid of all those extra copies
I see you shady.
Mess at lotus sold out on black Friday at wal mart at 3 different stores I went too. No wonder she slayed 2nd week sales.
This is by far her most interesting backstory album to talk about. She really put years into consideration on What she wanted to do.
This album remains her best work and I'm glad the grammys felt the same way with her multiple nominations.
I like to think this Christina knew what she wanted. She did not want to work with hit making producers. I think that's why she stood out in 2006-07. No one in her contemporary had something like that.
